TERMS & CONDITIONS
Acting Science Method™
Last Updated: September 29, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.actingscience.com and the products, memberships, training programs, publications, educational materials, events, and services offered under the Acting Science Method™ brand.
Royal Rabbit Media, Inc. is the legal entity responsible for the website and services offered under the Acting Science Method™ brand.
By using the Site, creating an account, purchasing a product, subscribing to a membership, enrolling in a program, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms and to any additional terms presented to you at enrollment or purchase.
1. Services
Acting Science Method™ provides actor education, mentorship, workshops, semester programs, memberships, self-paced training, publications, digital resources, professional-development programs, events, and related products and services.
Specific programs may include additional:
-
Enrollment requirements
-
Schedules
-
Payment terms
-
Minimum commitments
-
Cancellation or refund terms
-
Participation requirements
-
Eligibility requirements
Any specific terms displayed at enrollment, registration, or checkout form part of your agreement for that purchase.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
Accounts, memberships, courses, subscriptions, program access, and purchased digital resources are personal and may not be transferred, sold, shared, or assigned without written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access in cases involving:
-
Fraud
-
Nonpayment
-
Account sharing
-
Unauthorized distribution of materials
-
Intellectual-property infringement
-
Harassment or misconduct
-
Security concerns
-
Material violation of these Terms
3. Payments, Memberships, and Subscriptions
Prices and payment terms are displayed at purchase or enrollment.
Recurring memberships and subscriptions are billed according to the schedule disclosed at checkout.
Where a program requires a minimum commitment, that commitment remains in effect even where payments are collected in installments.
For example, a program described as a 12-month commitment billed monthly is not a month-to-month membership unless expressly stated otherwise.
Failure to make required payments may result in suspension or termination of access and does not necessarily eliminate outstanding contractual payment obligations.
4. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling
Cancellation and refund terms may vary according to the product, membership, event, program, or service purchased.
The specific cancellation, refund, commitment, and rescheduling terms presented at enrollment or checkout control for that purchase.
Digital products, downloadable materials, memberships providing immediate access to proprietary resources, and self-paced educational programs may be non-refundable once access has been provided, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Private appointments, workshops, live programs, and events may have separate cancellation or rescheduling requirements.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
This replaces the old blanket 48-hour cancellation rule, which no longer fits the variety of memberships and programs you now offer. Pasted markdown (2)
5. Educational and Professional Disclaimer
Acting Science Method™ provides education, training, mentorship, and professional-development services.
Participation does not guarantee:
-
Representation
-
Auditions
-

-
Any particular professional result
Casting, hiring, representation, and employment decisions are made by independent third parties and remain outside our control.
6. Intellectual Property Ownership
The Acting Science Method™ website, programs, publications, memberships, and related materials contain substantial proprietary intellectual property.
Protected materials may include:
-
Written content
-
Mentor Magazine™
-
Books and publications
-
Course and workshop materials
-
Videos and recordings
-
Graphics and illustrations
-
Diagrams and models
-
Worksheets and exercises
-
Training frameworks
-
Proprietary terminology
-
Named concepts and techniques
-
Teaching structures
-
Scripts and instructional materials
-
Resource Library materials
-
Mini-guides
-
Branding and design elements
-
Other original educational and creative content
Such materials are owned by or licensed to Royal Rabbit Media, Inc. and may be protected by copyright, trademark, contract, trade-secret, and other applicable intellectual-property laws.
Your old Terms already prohibited unauthorized copying, derivative works, resale, and exploitation, but identified that property as belonging to CMFA. Pasted markdown (2) This provision updates and expands that protection.
7. Notice of Prior and Acquired Intellectual Property
The intellectual property presented under the Acting Science Method™ brand includes original works, materials, methodologies, terminology, frameworks, techniques, diagrams, publications, and educational content developed and/or first published over many years prior to the establishment of the current Acting Science Method™ branding.
Royal Rabbit Media, Inc. acquired the applicable intellectual-property rights in 2025 and is the current rights holder. That acquisition did not alter or replace the original dates of authorship, creation, development, first use, or publication. All such prior rights and dates are expressly preserved.
Rebranding, revision, digitization, republication, adaptation to new formats, or subsequent publication under the Acting Science Method™ brand does not constitute first creation of previously existing material.
No such action shall be interpreted as abandonment, waiver, or limitation of earlier rights.
The current branding and presentation of Acting Science Method™ intellectual property therefore do not establish or replace the original dates upon which underlying works, terminology, publications, frameworks, concepts, materials, or other protected content were created, developed, used, or published.
8. Trademarks and Proprietary Identifiers
Acting Science Method™, Mentor Magazine™, and other names, concepts, terminology, frameworks, techniques, systems, models, and identifiers marked with ™ are claimed as proprietary trademarks or identifiers as applicable.
Nothing on the Site or within our programs grants permission to use our trademarks or proprietary identifiers in connection with another:
-
Business
-
Acting method
-
Coaching practice
-
Course
-
Workshop
-
Publication
-
Membership
-
Product
-
Commercial service
Use of the ™ symbol indicates a claim of trademark rights and does not necessarily indicate federal registration.
9. Limited License to Customers and Students
Purchasing or receiving access to Acting Science Method™ content does not transfer ownership.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, you receive only a:
limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license
to access and use the materials solely for your own personal education and professional development.
No license is granted to teach, reproduce, distribute, publish, commercialize, sublicense, or create competing materials using our intellectual property.
10. Prohibited Uses of Proprietary Materials
Without prior written authorization from Royal Rabbit Media, Inc., you may not:
-
Copy or substantially reproduce proprietary materials
-
Republish or redistribute materials
-
Sell, license, sublicense, or commercially exploit materials
-
Share purchased or member-only materials with nonmembers
-
Record or redistribute classes, meetings, workshops, or mentorship sessions without authorization
-
Teach Acting Science Method™ proprietary materials as your own
-
Incorporate proprietary materials into another acting method, training system, coaching program, course, workshop, publication, or commercial service
-
Create unauthorized derivative educational materials
-
Remove copyright, trademark, authorship, or proprietary notices
-
Present Acting Science Method™ materials or terminology as your own
-
Systematically scrape, download, archive, or harvest protected content
-
Upload substantial proprietary materials into artificial-intelligence systems for the purpose of reproducing, adapting, extracting, analyzing, training upon, generating, or developing competing or derivative educational or commercial content
-
Use our protected materials to create or develop a competing method, curriculum, publication, course, coaching system, product, or service
Nothing in this section is intended to prohibit uses expressly permitted by applicable law.
11. No Transfer or Waiver of Intellectual Property
No purchase, enrollment, subscription, mentorship relationship, workshop participation, collaboration, publication subscription, or access to a Resource Library transfers ownership of intellectual property.
Failure to immediately enforce an intellectual-property right does not constitute abandonment or waiver of that right.
Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as a waiver, abandonment, transfer, or limitation of any copyright, trademark, contractual, trade-secret, or other proprietary right belonging to Royal Rabbit Media, Inc.
12. User Submissions
You retain ownership of original materials you submit to us, including self-tapes, photographs, résumés, scripts you own, and other personal creative work, subject to any rights you may already have granted to third parties.
By submitting material where necessary to participate in a program or receive a service, you grant us a limited license to access, review, reproduce internally where reasonably necessary, and use that material solely to provide the requested service.
We do not acquire ownership of your acting performance or other original creative work merely because you submit it for coaching, review, or participation.
13. Community and Communication Services
The Site and our programs may include:
-
Member communities
-
Chats
-
Forums
-
Groups
-
Meetings
-
Message boards
-
Other communication features
Participants may not:
-
Harass, threaten, or impersonate others

Where recordings are made available to participants, access is personal unless otherwise stated.
Participants may not copy, download, reproduce, redistribute, publish, or publicly post recordings without express written authorization.
Specific programs may include additional recording terms.
15. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website and programs may use or link to third-party platforms and providers.
We are not responsible for the availability, content, security, policies, or practices of independent third-party services.
The inclusion of a third-party link or integration does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
16. Website Use
You may not:
-
Interfere with the operation or security of the Site
-
Attempt unauthorized access
-
Introduce malicious software or code
-
Circumvent access restrictions
-
Scrape or systematically reproduce protected content
-
Misuse member credentials
-
Use the Site for unlawful purposes
17. International Users
Acting Science Method™ serves users internationally.
Users accessing our services from outside the United States are responsible for complying with applicable local laws.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of mandatory protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
Your previous Terms stated that the service was administered by CMFA from U.S. offices, so this section has been modernized for your current international customer base. Pasted markdown (2)
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and services are provided on an “as available” basis.
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate, reliable, and useful information but do not warrant that:
-
The Site will always operate without interruption
-
Third-party services will remain continuously available
-
Every feature will be error-free
-
Participation will produce any particular professional result
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Royal Rabbit Media, Inc. and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
20. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Royal Rabbit Media, Inc. and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, liabilities, losses, or reasonable expenses arising from:
-
Your unlawful use of the Site or services
-
Your infringement of another person's rights
-
Your unauthorized use or exploitation of proprietary materials
-
Your material violation of these Terms
21. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of mandatory protections available under the laws applicable to that consumer.
I would leave this provision at this level for now rather than copying your old arbitration clause. Your previous Terms require mandatory arbitration, contain a class-action waiver, and designate New Mexico law and jurisdiction. Pasted markdown (2)
Because Royal Rabbit Media, Inc. is now the contracting entity and you serve customers internationally, I would have an attorney specifically review whether you want to retain arbitration, which jurisdiction should govern, and how it should interact with mandatory consumer protections.
22. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site or services when reasonably necessary because of:
-
Nonpayment
-
Fraud
-
Security concerns
-
Harassment
-
Unauthorized sharing
-
Intellectual-property infringement
-
Material breach of these Terms
Termination does not eliminate obligations or rights that accrued before termination, including outstanding payment obligations and intellectual-property protections.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our business, services, technology, or legal requirements.
The current version will be posted on ActingScience.com with an updated date.
Material changes affecting existing contractual commitments will be handled as required by applicable law.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the fullest extent permitted by law.
25. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any specific terms presented for a purchased product, membership, subscription, event, or program, constitute the applicable agreement regarding use of those services unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise.
